Le Figuier sauvage séduit par son réalisme froid et son ancrage quasi documentaire, notamment grâce à l’intégration habile d’images de rébellion issues des réseaux sociaux et à un contexte politique solidement restitué. Ces choix donnent au film une portée qui dépasse la simple fiction. La justesse des acteurs renforce encore cette immersion. On regrette cependant certaines lenteurs, parfois artificielles, qui freinent le rythme. Malgré cela, il s’agit d’une très belle réussite, qui aurait gagné à être un peu plus resserrée.
